a Bake Sale on Tuesday, February 14th and Wednesday, February 15th, during recess. Some of the yummy items on sale will be cookies, rice krispie treats, brownies, and muffins! Jean Day Success
The students were ready for Jean Day! They raised an astounding $660.00 to wear jeans for a day! We are happy to say we are sending $260.00 to Heifer International for the gift of a Pig, a Goat, and a flock of Chicks. A pig provides a family with a valuable source of protein, income from the sale of offspring, and natural fertilizer to nourish crops and soil. A Goat can supply a family with up to several quarts of nutritious milk a day. Extra milk can be sold or used to make cheese or yogurt. Families also learn to fertilize gardens. Through the gift of a flock of chicks, families can enrich their diets with nourishing, life-sustaining eggs. The balance of profits will be used for Leadership Camp. Thank you to everyone who participated.
