School starts Monday, August 28th at 8 AM.
Morning Care will begin Tuesday, August 29th at 6:30 A.M. in the upper school building. Mrs. Konzen will be there to welcome your children to morning care.
After School Care will begin Monday, August 28th at noon. (make sure to send a lunch for the first week of school) in the bungalow. You can meet Mrs. Partida on Monday, August 28th at 7:30 A.M. in the bungalow.

Introducing our new Middle School Social Studies Teacher - Mr. Chauncey Fagen
Mr. Fagan joins the staff of St. Francis Xavier School this year as our middle school social studies teacher. He’s a graduate of Notre Dame High School and played football at Humboldt State University, where he received his BS in finance. Mr. Fagan has been a substitute teacher throughout the Archdiocese, including at SFX, and currently is working on his teaching credential. “I am excited to help get our students ready for the rigors of high school, above and beyond just the subject of social studies,” says Mr. Fagan. Outside of SFX he can be found at Harvard Westlake High School, where he is an assistant varsity football coach. Welcome to St. Francis, Mr. Fagan!

Introducing our new TK Aide - Mrs Sarah Terry
Originally hailing from Manchester, England, Mrs. Sarah Terry will be the second aide in our Transitional Kindergarten class, assisting Mrs. Echavarri and Mrs. Kerr. A former registered nurse in England and a Burbank resident for the past 18 years, she comes to us from McKinley Elementary School where she has served many roles, including classroom aide and outside supervisor. “I’m excited to start something new and can’t wait to get to know the students, families and faculty of St. Francis Xavier,” she says. Virtus Training.
On September 10th, at SFX, there will be a
Protecting God’s Children Virtus Training Class from 6pm-9pm. All parents are required to take this class in order to participate in on campus school activities and to go on field trips. |

Earn PSA hours, become a Liturgical Minister.
We have many volunteer opportunities here at St. Francis Xavier, including opportunities to help at Mass. Please consider choosing a ministry—Sacristan, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Usher, or Altar Server. You can tell us which Mass you attend and how many times per month you’d like to serve. If you would like to volunteer or have questions please contact the Parish Office at 818/504-4400 and we will get you trained.
